Doctors of Naturopathy primarily rely on botanical and other non-conventional forms of medication in their treatment. In the event Dr. Newirth feels conventional prescription drugs would be a viable alternative, he will refer patients to a conventional practitioner, as Alaska State Law currently prevents Naturopathic Doctors to prescribe or dispense prescription drugs.
